I have been fortunate to live in Liverpool for several years.

I am originally from Wokingham, Berkshire, but lived in the United States for ten years.  It’s there, in Seattle, that I learned my craft, while being mentored in carpentry and restoring Victorian timber framed houses.  

Upon returning home to the United Kingdom I headed North.  After studying at John Moores University and making my own furniture part-time, I set up my own business, The Alcove Company.  

It gives me immense satisfaction to build bespoke furniture and know it is  appreciated by my customers.
